Everything that I’ve felt about the NFL is written in this concise article from the Good Writer Lindsay Adler. Every time someone spouts some bs about how the NFL is in a Bad Place because of protests or concussions or whatever, basically I want to just explain this feeling.
What I would add is “good” and “so what”. We should care less about the NFL and I’m glad this is happening. Not that Lindsay implied any sympathy for the shield, but I think it’s important to say explicitly, that no one should be feeling sorry for this incomprehensibly successful money making machine. And if the select few old, rich dicks only make $350 million instead of $500 million this year, and for years to come, good. Let’s get that down to like, six figures here in a few years.
